07Why one team
An ERP holds financial, customer and employee data. Before go-live we review user roles, record rules, audit trail settings, backups and server configuration.
Because ADN also works in cybersecurity, the team that configures Odoo can assess its exposure, and findings are fixed within the same project.
08Methodology
A typical implementation follows six phases. Duration depends on scope and is agreed after discovery.
Processes are mapped and compared with standard Odoo. Gaps are classified as configuration, process change or development.
Modules, data model, access rights and integrations are documented and approved before configuration starts.
Odoo is configured in a test environment. Custom work is developed in short, reviewed increments.
Master and opening data are cleansed, loaded in trial runs and reconciled with the source system.
Key users run acceptance tests against agreed scenarios. Users and administrators are trained by role.
Cut-over follows a written plan. A hypercare period covers the first closing cycle.
